Adult Project SEARCH is a business-led internship program that gives individuals with disabilities the chance to build marketable skills in a real workplace. Through total workplace immersion and hands-on training, interns gain the experience, confidence, and connections needed to move into competitive integrated employment in their community, with an 80% graduate employment rate to show for it.
Basic Eligibility
- Ages 18–30
- Has exited or aged out of high school
- Eligible for Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS)
- Eligible for Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) services, or able to self-pay (see link above for information about applying for NJ DDD services)
- Demonstrates appropriate workplace hygiene and behavior
- Motivated to work in a competitive job setting
